Our exhibition was nominated for the Icelandic Museum Award 2022!

Today it was announced which museums are nominated for the Icelandic Museum Award 2022 and the main exhibition of the Akranes folks museum was among the nominees. The Icelandic Division of ICOM and the Association of Icelandic Museums and Curators (FÍSOS) present the Icelandic Museums Award in collaboration, which is a recognition given every other year to an Icelandic museum for outstanding activities.
