WHAT IF (15.05.2020-15.09.2021) Kolbrún S. Kjarval
Kolbrún S. Kjarval is an Icelandic ceramic artist. She studied art in Denmark and Britain, and works mainly in ceramics, creating works of art that are both creative and functional. In her artwork, Kolbrún is inspired by the contrasting landscapes of Iceland, the unique light and colors, and the vivid birdlife.
In her exhibition HVAÐ EF / WHAT IF Kolbrún creates her own world of possibilities, by exploring the Akranes Folk Museum‘s collection as well as allowing her own imagination to run wild.
