And Then a Little Something Occurred

Welcome to the opening of the exhibition And then a little something occurred.

April 16th 2 - 5 pm

And Then A Little Something Occurred is an exhibition that brings together works by five artists exploring everyday life, quotidian experiences, and love, but it also questions social norms in love, communication, and old standards. By layering a temporary exhibition on top of an existing permanent exhibition in the Akranes Folk Museum, Sara Blöndal creates a site-specific exhibition that responds to the historical narrative already in place. Through the works of the artists, the exhibition presents a different context that encourages viewers to reflect upon what we have done so far and what lays ahead.
