A Local View

We welcome you to the opening of the exhibition A Local View.

As a part of the annual art walk in Akranes and will open its doors
on the 24th of October at 17:00

The exhibition focuses on houses/buildings in Akranes that have been inspiration to artist through the years. Some of the subjects can be seen in town, but others are long gone.

All the artworks are owned by the municipality of Akranes.

This exhibition is a collaboration between the Akranes Folk Museum, the Akranes Regional Archives and the Akranes Art Archive
